轉筒式烘干機簡稱烘干機是一種處理大量物料的干燥器。由于運轉可靠、操作彈性大、適應性強、處理量大，廣泛使用于冶金、建材、食品、輕工、化工、煤炭、醫藥礦產業中。回轉轉筒干燥器一般適應于顆粒狀物料，也可用于部分摻入物料的辦法干燥粘狀膏狀物料或含水量較高的物料。它的優點是生產能力大、適用范圍廣、流量阻力小、操作上允許波動范圍較大、操作方便等。常用于烘干沙子、礦粉、煤泥等。
Rotary dryer is shorted for dryer which is a kind of airer can handle a
lot of material. As it is reliable and flexible to operate, and has
strong adaptability and large handling capability which is widely used
in metallurgy, building materials, food processing, light industry,
chemicals, coal, medicine and mining industries .Rotary cylinder dryer
apply to the granular materials in general, and can also be used for
drying sticky paste-like materials or materials with high water by
mixing some materials. It has the advantage of large capacity and wide
range of adaptability and small flow rate resistance, allow large
fluctuations in the operation, and is convenient to operate and so on.
Commonly ,it is used in drying sand, slag, coal and so on.
